I have long foretold of earthquake/tsunami danger for the west coast of North America.
Apart from other warnings for the greater Vancouver area I have repeatedly warned people residing in North Vancouver of the risk to the Cleveland Dam at the head of the Capilano River. If a sizable earthquake strikes and it is breached, the flooding and disaster will be horrific.
According to an auditor-general report released this week, it appears that British Columbia is unprepared for “the big one.”
