When someone is deliberately mean or cruel, offer them a bunch of thistles with one lovely rose in the middle. Tell them if they love and send sweetness that all the thistles will turn into a lovely bouquet of roses without thorns.
If kindness and compassion are not mastered, the thistles will all sting until one pulls up one’s socks and learns to love.
